Florida Suncoast Weather

Suncoast temperatures are pleasant year round. While summer temperatures (June through mid September) can get into the 90’s during midday, afternoon showers are the rule and can cool the day significantly. The summer daily average is in the low 80’s and the evening temperatures are generally in the low 70’s, great for sitting on the lanai and enjoying a cool beverage.
The rest of the year sees midday temperatures in the mid 70’s or 80’s and evening lows quite nice in the 50’s or 60’s. Frost-free winters are great for outside activities from gardening to boating and exercise as well as outdoor dining.

Most of the Suncoast’s rainfall occurs in the summer months with afternoon thunderstorms to cool the day the norm. Almost eight months, from mid October to mid May there is very little rainfall with an average of only 2” per month. Winter residents can expect glorious weather with perfect temperatures and little rain.
